10 years since I completed the LFD420 course by The Linux Foundation

10 years ago today, I completed the LFD420 training by The Linux Foundation. About a year later, I became a professional Linux kernel developer. 🐧👨🏽‍💻

I think back then it was about half the price it is today, and I spent basically all my savings to pay for it.

I didn’t know it at the time, but it was definitely life-changing, given my own particular circumstances, of course.

When I took it, I already had many years of solid professional experience developing embedded systems in C. I think that was definitely crucial to getting the most out of the training. So, if you’re an individual, curious about it, and can afford it, keep this in mind.
